Kyla Saphir is a mother, yoga instructor, early childhood educator, and author of the children’s book On Brighter Days. She lives in Columbia, South Carolina, with her husband, 5 year old daughter, and wild pup Nia.
The inspiration for the book, On Brighter Days, came from Kyla’s personal experience with secondary infertility. Kyla is passionate about high quality children’s literature and found books for families dealing with infertility missing from the bookshelves. She needed an outlet to work through all the emotions of not being able to have another child and grant her daughter a sibling, which she asks for frequently. Kyla and her daughter decided to write their own book addressing these feelings for moms and their kids!
Kyla balances the responsibilities of motherhood with her love of yoga, running with her puppy, and playing in her garden.
